We bought this car about 4 years ago from Jaguar/Range Rover of Thousand Oaks, Ca. It was in very nice condition and the color combination that we wanted. It has been a great car for my wife and me with very few issues other than regular maintenance. We really enjoyed this Jaguar, so we have decided to go ahead and buy a new Jaguar to replace it. I will do my best to describe in detail all the aspects of the car so that you hopefully get an accurate picture of it's condition. Body and PaintThe body and paint are in excellent condition. The car has been garaged all the time that we have owned it. It gets cleaned and detailed on a regular basis. We like to keep our cars clean. I would estimate that the body and paint score about 8 1/2 to 9 out of 10. There are no dents or dings on the car. It does have one scratch on the rear bumper, hopefully which will be able to be seen in the pictures. On the hood there is one linear scratch which is about 1 1/2 inches long just above the front grill which was probably the result of a pebble kicked up from the road. This has been a CA car since we have owned it. I don't know where it originally was sold. There is no rust, corrrosion or rot in the body or underneath. Wheels and TiresThe wheels are in very good condition. The front left wheel has a scrape from hitting a curb.....(clearly my wife's doing, ha). The others have normal wear for the age of the car, but look nice when walking around the car.Although I am not an expert, I would say the tires on the car have about 10K miles of useful wear left on them, perhaps a bit more. InteriorThe interior is in excellent condition. The leather has been maintained as well as the carpets and mats. There are no rips or tears in the upholstery or dash, door panels or headliner. The wood on the console is in excellent condition. We are not smokers and there are no strange odors in the car. I would give the interior a 9 out of 10, just because the car is not new. DrivetrainThe car drives the same today as when we bought the car several years ago. it accelerates nicely, brakes well and straight, doesn't pull to one side or the other etc.... We change the oil at regular intervals and have the car regularly maintained. We do this with all of our cars and find that we get the best service out of them that way. MiscEverything works on the car, the lights, switches, electric windows, turn signals, air conditioning(blows super cold : ) ) Sound system....etc.... ConclusionWe have really enjoyed our Jaguar and we are buying another one. These cars are definitely not like the early Jaguars. I think that when Ford bought the company they must have gone about doing many things to make them a lot more reliable. We hope that whoever wins the auction enjoys the car as much as we have. Since the car is used and we are selling it as a private party, of course we have to sell the car "as is" and with any faults of which we may not be aware, but I suppose that's standard.
