Vehicle Detail
I'm the second owner and have had this truck since 2009. 2.7L 4-cyl, 5-speed. The body and motor are a bit rough, I planned to restore it, but never made the time. About 8 years ago Toyota checked the frame and it didn't qualify for the frame recall. I'm not sure how bad the frame rust is, there's only one small spot of body rust. The interior is in good shape. The 4x4 works well, everything is manual and awesome (transmission, windows, hubs). Only 117,000 miles, I bought it with 92,000. AC is cold. It's been mostly in storage, but I've done a couple of cross-country trips and car camping. Thule rack. Clean title. I'll gladly answer any questions. On Jul-18-18 at 07:31:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Several people have asked questions that I'll post here. The accident reported in the AutoCheck report was a minor fender bender with minimal damage. You can see it in the main photo - the front right turning indicator glass is broken, the bumper has a dent, and the front right fender has a small buckle (not enough to chip the paint). Because it was so minor I didn't know this was reported until I saw it on the AutoCheck report. Several people have asked about the "rough" engine. I'm not sure what the problem is, it simply runs "rough". It has not overheated, the problem came on gradually. It starts fine, but when stopping at a light it feels like it may stall. When the engine is warmed up it's still rough, but easier to drive. Someone asked what I would do to the truck before driving it 500 miles. For me that would be a trip from Louisville to Kansas City... I'd check the fluids, tire pressure, pack a lunch and take my chances. However, I make no guarantees about how well it would actually perform driving 500 miles (but the AC will be cool). I'm happy to provide any more details. Thanks.
