Original owner, only 2,600 miles, garaged, never driven in the rain or winter months, vehicle number 4125 of 4346 green limited edition Bullitt Mustangs produced in 2008 for the 40 year anniversary of the 1968 Steve McQueen Bullitt movie. 1426 more were made in black for 2008 for a total of 5772 Bullitts produced in 2008. In 2009, 629 were made in green and 181 in black for a total of 810 Bullitts in 2009. Total 08/09 Bullitt models produced is 6582. This car was made for a higher performancce and horsepower than the standard GT V8 version.The engine was calibrated for an increased throttle response for quicker acceleration.Gears were selected via a Tremac 5 speed transmission designed specifically for the Bullitt. Fords first factory produced cold air intake and special cam risers also adds to incresaed horse power and a higher RPM red line. Along with the custom designed dual exhaust system with H-pipe and glass pack mufflers featuring larger 3.5 inch chrome tips are tuned to minimize back pressure, maximize horsepower and provide the Bullitt with its powerful exhaust note.( A guaranteed head turner.) The 3.73:1 rear end helps launch the Bullitt even faster off the line.Stock GT shocks and struts were swapped out with higher performance ones that allowed engineers to dial in a more aggressive handling while still maintaining outstanding ride and balance. A tower to tower brace with the Bullitt ID badge lends additional torsion and lateral stiffness to the chassis for improved cornering.Higher perfomance brakes also adds to impressive performance.Black leather interior with the engine turn aluminum panel dash is stricking. Along with seats patterned after the Shelby GT500 providing added lumbar and bolster support. With the 2019, 50 year Anniversary Bullitt production you will be hard pressed to find a better collectors car that will appreciate to a future classic legend. Pick up only.
