Vehicle Detail
This is a 2012 Tiger 800 ABS plus $3000 worth of accessories listed below. It has 20K miles and looks and runs like a brand new bike. All service is up to date including recent oil and filter change, valve shim adjust at 17K miles, coolant change, spark plugs, air filter, new lithium battery, new chain and sprockets. This is a great light weight adventure bike and will take you anywhere in total comfort with a smooth 3 cylinder engine: no vibration and smooth linear power (95 hp). The electronic cruise control is great allowing you to take your hand off the throttle and relax. I use in on the highway and secondary roads and it compensates perfectly for hills and wind. This model has a 650 watt alternator which can power everything you want to plug into it (newer Tigers only have 400 watts std) which is great for heated jacket, pants, etc. Triumph recommends 87 octane fuel (no hi-test needed) and I normally get 50-52 mpg. The Rox bar risers bring the bars up and close to the rider so NO leaning forward. Seat is wide and comfortable and has adjustable height: I'm 5'8" and easily sit flat footed with seat in low position. The panniers hug the bike nicely and use the same key as the ignition to lock/unlock and can be removed from the bike in seconds and carry like luggage with integrated handles. The heated grips and hand-guards keep my hands warm down to about 35F with regular gloves. The LED fog lights are great for being seen and use the Triumph harness and switch and a Denali bracket and elements which are sturdier and wider than the factory mounts. This is a "do it all" motorcycle with sport bike performance and handling, comfort of a highway cruiser, and versatility of a dual-sport. I am a 53 year old engineer and do ALL of my own bike maintenance with great attention and care. If would like like to see more pictures or have questions please ask.
