1971 Honda SL175

This auction is for a 1971 Honda SL175 in desirable sapphire candy blue and in mostly all original condition with a very low start bid price. This cool twin cylinder street legal classic has been in long term storage. Mileage on odometer shows just over 8k miles. The bike starts, runs and shifts. It has a new AGM maintenance free gel battery and twin air filters. All lights, brake, hi/lo beam work as well as the horn. The carburetors have been cleaned along with new gaskets. The petcock has new gasket, & screen along with new gas lines. New spark plugs were installed. The paint on gas tank and fenders has some patina (staining) as well as couple very shallow dents, (see pictures). I was told the rear replacement tire has very few miles, and it looks newer. The upswept exhaust muffler has some holes and left plastic side cover has been repaired on the back side. The chrome has some pitting such as the front fork tubes, handlebars, etc. Rims are clean overall. Both fork seals do leak. Overall with some tlc this is a bike that could be ridden while being restored or leave it original as is (after replacing fork seals, checking all safety items, brakes, cables, etc). There may be some other things I've over looked or that may be needed. Look over the pictures well for overall condition and ask any questions before auction ends. Sold with a Bill of Sale only, No Title. This sl175 is complete and a fairly rare bike being made only 3 years and is being sold in as is condition, needing restoration. Payment in full is due within 3 days. Paypal is ok if using friends and family payment option only. I can store bike for 30 days so that the buyer can arrange shipping.
