Up for auction is a 1974 Ford Bronco. This Bronco has a good running 302 that doesn't smoke and sounds good. It has new plugs and wires and a new battery. The dual exhaust is decent all the way to the back of the mufflers (passenger side is ran out the side in front of the rear wheel and the driver's side tailpipe is missing). It has a manual 3-speed transmission with the shifter on the column. It has manual steering that works good. It has a new rear tank (main tank, filler hose, vent hose, sending unit, new fuel lines, and new fuel filter). It does not have a front fuel tank (auxiliary tank). It has ALL NEW brakes front to back (disc front, drum rear) with new power booster, new master cylinder, new booster bracket, new proportioning valve, all new steel lines, new disc rotor/hub assemblies, new calipers, new pads, new flex lines, new brake shoes on rear, new brake hardware, and new drums. Entire brake system is new. It also has all new bearings and seals front and back with new Warn locking hubs up front. Four wheel drive works. It has a new set of coil springs up front (heavy winch bumper wore out the original ones) with new shocks at all four corners. The tires have tons of tread but are about 16 years old so I wouldn't trust them on the highway. The frame is in good condition with only surface rust-no rust through the frame. The body of this bronco is very usable. It was painted about 16 years ago and the paint is flaking off in some places. The grill, hood, and fenders have some damage but nothing major. The front lip on the hood has a little rust. The rockers aren't perfect, but usable as they are. Rear of the Bronco is very solid. Front floor pans were cut out and replaced. Entire floor was cleaned up and painted with rust preventative flat paint. Doors are good but they have some rust at the base of the window frames. They also need new window tracks. There is no rubber weather stripping around the doors. Top is good. Glass is good except for the windshield needs to be replaced. Just installed a new dimmer switch and brake light switch. Wipers work (need new blades). All lights and gauges currently work except the headlights and gas gauge but I should have them working by the end of the auction. Seats have been recovered years ago. Not the material that I would've picked but they are usable as they are (rear seat included that matches the fronts). If you are looking for a Bronco project that has the potential for full restoration but you can drive and enjoy as you build your dream, then this is a fantastic place to start.
