Hello I am selling my 1959 Morris Minor 1000. This little car was mostly restored in the late 80's/early 90's and some more work done in the early 2000's, runs and drives great with it's Datsun 1200 engine and automatic transmission that almost appears to look stock because how similar in size and design. The condition of the paint and body is 8/10 because it has quite a few nicks and a couple cracks in the paint, the car appears to have no rust beyond possibly surface rust but I haven't found any yet and floor pans also appear to be be in excellent condition and possibly have been replaced in the past. I was told the motor was rebuilt and looks to be but I do not have any paperwork to prove it was rebuilt. The car needs a couple of things fixed like the left turn indicator won't pop out but the right side does and I think there might be a blown fuse or loose wire for the headlights because they both stopped turning on but all the other lights work, also the top is in decent shape but the convertible mechanical part opens and contracts very well but it must be slightly out of line because it doesn't sit even on the driver side. As for the seats I believe the rear seat is original and needs work but the front seats I don't think they are the stock seats but might be era correct. I also highly encourage anyone wanting to buy this car to come take the car for a spin before buying, I am selling this car because for a couple reasons; My family heirloom 1931 ford coupe was totaled 6 weeks ago and looks to be that it wont be covered by the insurance so I need to sell my Minor to afford the rebuild and also that my family has 8 cars in total but we have a 4 car driveway so parking gets a bit interesting. I am happy to answer questions and send additional photos to anyone, tags are good till May of 2019 and the pink slip is in my name.
