Re-listing due to non-paying bidder. Before making an offer, please confirm that you have money, permission, time and a means of getting to Cincinnati to pick this truck up. Seriously. Up for auction here is a 2002 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 Extended cab pickup. Excellent running vehicle. Always adult owned; first my dad (baby boomer) then me (son of baby-boomer/40-something). Regular maintenance including oil changes with full synthetic. Engine is strong with no smoke or weird sounds. Transmission shifts fine, clutch is tight. Brakes are still in good shape, truck brakes straight. Bedliner, cold AC, AM/FM Cassette/CD. Cruise Control, tilt wheel. Body is straight, way above average for age/mileage. No rust on body. Upholstery is in good shape, no tears. Minor chip in windshield, hasn't spread. 4-wheel drive worked fine last time I used it, haven't gotten much snow in the last couple years. Should be fine when you need it. I put a K&N air filter in it so you'll save a couple bucks a year not buying air filters. The truck does have a couple issues. The tires are ready to be replaced. It has recently developed a rattle in the front right suspension when you hit a bump. I haven't looked in to this, might just be shocks, I don't know. The driver side seat belt is frayed. You should probably replace that. Belts could use a tighten, it squeaks a little when you are driving slow with the AC on. I have had a few questions regarding the frame condition. I have added pictures that show the condition of the frame pretty well. As you can see there is some surface rust. This truck has had only one minor accident and that was with a deer. The only damage was the front bumper and that was replaced. Frame is straight.All is well with the transfer case. High 4 works perfectly. Low 4 works perfectly. Honestly, in this trucks entire life, this was probably the first time that Low 4 was engaged. Two warning lights are on. The "Check Engine"is lit and the "airbag" is lit. I am still driving this so the mileage might go up a little by the end of the auction. Not planning any cross-country road trips in the next week so it will be minimal.
