1989 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z convertible305 Tuned Port Injection/ 700R4 automatic Power windows, power locks, power seat, ACArctic White with Black/Silver interior and graphicsONLY 32k ORIGINAL MILES! Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. I am proud to offer one of the finest cars I have ever found and I am excited to make someone's dream car become a reality. In 1988 I was 13 years old, and my dad bought a 1986 Camaro IROC-Z hardtop. I can remember riding around in that car like it was yesterday, and all of my friends were so jealous when my dad would pick me up after the various sports practices at my school. If you were a teenager in the 80's like I was, then you remember how much EVERYONE wanted an IROC-Z. Here we are, 30 years later, and this is your chance to get into a time capsule and re-live your youth! IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE A VIDEO OF THIS CAR, PLEASE CLICK HERE: https://youtu.be/tIvVZh2Iopk This is a 1989 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z convertible. I recently purchased this car from an elderly couple who purchased it in 1994 from the original owner, who lived in Florida. I still have the receipt for the day the car was originally sold in Florida. This car has been meticulously cared for and maintained since Day One, and it shows. It spent the majority of it's life in the garage, and protected in a black silk car cover, which will be included in the sale. This is one of the finest original cars I have ever found. This car will turn 30 years old next year, but yet it remains in absolutely beautiful condition. Are you looking to go back in time and have some fun in a car that represents your youth? Can you imagine rolling into your local car cruise or, better yet, your 1989 high school reunion in this car? This one is the IROC you have been looking for. I would like to make it very clear that this car is to be considered in "investment grade" condition.....meaning that it will never go down in value if it is maintained. The prices on these cars continue to go up every year. You can drive and enjoy this car, and watch it double or triple in value over the next 5-10 years. This is a rare opportunity to have fun and grow your investment at the same time. This particular car is powered by the 5.0 liter Tuned Port Injection engine and is backed by the 700R4 automatic transmission. These engines put out well over 300 ft/lbs of torque, so they have plenty of power, yet they are very smooth and actually do surprisingly well with gas mileage. This car has travelled only 32000 miles since new, and it runs and drives like a brand new car. Everything works, and there are simply no mechanical issues. The engine bay is very clean, unmolested and original. It hasn't been steam cleaned or Armor-All'd.....that's just how clean it was the day I bought it. This one has definitely been babied it's entire life. You get in, turn the key, and rumble away without worrying. It hugs the road and rides like a dream. The steering is tight and precise. All the cars I sell come with a fresh tune-up and oil change, so all you have to do is get in and drive and enjoy yourself......and this one is no exception. The interior of this car is a marvel in it's own right. The cloth interiors of these cars, while very strikingly beautiful, are very susceptible to fading and/or staining. Very rarely do you find an IROC with a cloth interior that isn't ruined.....but once again, as with the rest of the car, this interior is in immaculate condition. The seat covers and carpeting in the car are brand new, so they are flawless. Everything works inside the car, as expected. The AC blows cold. It has power locks, power windows, and even a power driver seat. It retains it's original ACDelco AM/FM/cassette stereo with integrated equalizer......but it has a hidden AUX input in the console, so you can play your phone, SiriusXM radio, or IPod through the stereo system. The convertible top is in good condition. The doors open and shut smoothly with absolutely zero sagging. The interior will no doubt "wow" everyone who sees it. It is gorgeous and is a testament to how well this car was maintained. The exterior of this IROC-Z is what really makes the car. I call it the "Storm Trooper" because of it's stunning and rare black and white color scheme. The Bright Arctic White paint is glossy and smooth, and is beautifully accented by black and silver striping, IROC-Z callouts on the doors, and polished aluminum 16" wheels with charcoal inserts. The convertible top is the classy black cloth. The car has a few very tiny chips here and there that were touched in over the last 30 years, but they are barely even noticeable enough to mention. The wheels show a tiny amount of clearcoat imperfections but they still look great. The body is straight and all gaps are perfect. The car retains it's original "VIN stickers" on it's body panels, so you know it's never been wrecked. It also comes with a clean CARFAX report. There is absolutely ZERO rust on the body anywhere, as the car was always garaged, covered, and only used sparingly in the summer. This is one of the finest examples of an original IROC-Z that you will ever find in this color combination. The car just looks absolutely stunning. The pictures simply do not do it justice. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE A VIDEO OF THIS CAR, PLEASE CLICK HERE: https://youtu.be/tIvVZh2Iopk All in all, what we have here is one of the most sought-after and iconic cars of the 1980's. Here we all are 30 years later, and these IROC-Z's are suddenly a great reminder of all the fun times we had in our youth. There was nothing better than cruising around in your Camaro, listening to rock and roll and enjoying life in a much simpler time. This car is a time capsule that you will absolutely love and enjoy! Feel free to contact me through Ebay with any questions, and I will be more than happy to answer any questions or discuss the car with you. I will answer all questions as quickly as possible. I am available to show the car to you or to a third party inspector at any time. I expect to hear from the buyer of this car within 12 hours of the end of the sale. There is a $1000 deposit due immediately after the sale, with the remaining balance due within 3 days. I can accept cash or bank wire transfer. No checks will be accepted, and the car will not leave my possession until it is paid for. I will be happy to help the new owner with shipping, and/or pickup in any way possible, except financially. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
