Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1966 Mustang Coupe NO RESERVE 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe 6 cylinder automatic. Car does run, drive and stop. Engines sounds perfect, no weird noises, no ticks. Transmission shifts though the gears fine and reverse works as well. The car has some rust as photographed but nothing structural, the worst of the rust is where the gas tank sits in the trunk. Would make the perfect easy restoration project or drive it as is. The previous owner of the car has it undercoated every year so the underside is about the best you can find for a 52-year-old unrestored car! Doors open perfectly and don’t sag, trunk opens and closes, hood opens but does not latch. Car has been repainted some time ago, it looks like the original color was a baby blue, not the darker blue the car is now. Paint is in ok shape, the photos make it look better than it is. I would call it a 25 footer. Interior is really nice, carpet is deteriorating from age but everything else is good. Aftermarket radio, I cant figure how to turn it on, may work may not. Car does run, I had it up to about 40 mph, it ran though the gears fine and reserve works as well. Brakes are pretty bad; they only appear to work on the driver side. I put a new gas tank and sending unit in the car, as the old tank was rusted internally. Tires were replaced in 2006 and have under 200 miles on them. Has a rebuilt title, was told that it had a front-end accident in 1980, I don’t see any indication of any damage, but that was 38 years ago. Mileage shows 52,152. I have no reason to believe this isn’t accurate, but I make no guarantee. Gauges do work, I added about 1.5 miles driving it around my parking lot. Car is located in Kirtland Ohio 44094, anytime during the auction you are more than welcome to inspect the car in person. Car is not road worthy, you can drive it around my parking lot, but I wouldn’t drive it home, car has been off the road since 2006. Car is sold as-is.
