Purchased as a Collector's bike, this VFR is perfectly stock and in BRAND NEW condition with exactly 000002.4 miles on its odometer. This bike has not been ridden. 1237cc V4 pushing 170HP into a manual sequential 6-speed (not DCT) and no drive chain to maintain. Rider confidence is improved with built-in traction control and anti-lock breaks. This bike is a fantastic sports touring motorcycle and you won't find many in this untouched condition. I make it a point to start the bike every few months, and the fuel tank contains stabilized gasoline. This motorcycle comes with a Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin from American Honda Motor Company, Incorporated and was purchased from MotoSport Motorcycles in Hillsboro, Oregon in September of 2014. The certificate is dated June 2014 even though this is a 2013 model. Except for the 2 test miles, this bike has never been on the road. If you plan to put this bike on the road, the Certificate of Origin will be used to obtain a title through your state, and subsequently you would obtain a registration and vehicle tags to make it legal. I suggest you contact your local dealer to understand how they obtain vehicle titles if you do not understand this process. (2) Honda issued a drive shaft recall for the VFR1200F and this has been addressed. Feel free to confirm directly with Honda via the VIN shown on this listing. (3) I recently discovered a 1/2" scratch on the left back mirror cover (part 88118-MGE-003ZA) and the scratch also spans another 1/2" to the left turn signal lens (part 33453-MFL-305). Honda Parts Nation has these two parts listed at a combined ~$60 or so. A picture of this 1" scratch is available for you upon request.(4) This bike is STOCK. For some time now, I have recognized the huge technological investment made by Honda into this 7th Gen VFR. I have great admiration for the VFRs and especially appreciate what Honda did for Moto-GP with their V4 engines. With that, I decided to buy this second bike as a time capsule, to look at, and for possible future use. Sadly, things have changed in my life and I prefer to go sailing.. and as such, I am in the process of downsizing.
