Vehicle Detail

One of a kind, triple black 1999 5.0 Cobra convertible. Yes, 5.0 not 4.6. I had a custom engine built on a Boss 302 block. The new DOHC 5.0 sounds and runs great, and makes 450 HP without a supercharger, turbo, or nitrous. Pick your own poison to really make the black snake moan. The car itself has only 82,000 miles and the NEW ENGINE HAS <5,000 miles! I spent over $15,000 on the build and ancillary mods like a hi performance oil pump, heavy duty clutch, and other mods. I have the SCT handheld tuner with custom tunes loaded as well and also had the transmission rebuilt since I’ve owned it. The fuel pump was changed last year and the top a few months ago. A carbon fiber GT-R wing, extra wide tires, and Terminator hood and front and rear bumper covers complete the package and give it a really aggressive look. I simply don’t get to drive it as often as I’d like and don’t really have anywhere to properly store it. I’ve had the car for 12 years and have only put about 26,000 miles on it in that time. I bought the car with the rebuilt title (already rebuilt), so that’s mostly a technical thing and doesn’t affect the vehicle mechanically. I actually buy rebuilt vehicles quite often since it allows me to afford something I normally couldn’t. That’s why this car isn’t listed for $15,000- my discount becomes your discount. It runs great as a daily driver or track ready, A/C is fine also. The only issues are some wear and tear on the front seats and some paint peeling in spots and bubbles on trunk lid (I paid $4k to have it painted and basically got robbed by a place that subsequently went out of business). As you can see from the pics, this isn’t noticeable from a few feet away, only up close when washing and waxing. I included a close up of the worst area so you can see. Again, that’s why I’m not selling for $15k. With the savings you can decide whether or not to address it. Car is mechanically solid, I drive it around town usually, but every now and then it’ll get an interstate run of 200-300 miles if I travel with it. There wouldn’t be a problem purchasing and driving it home to another state. I haven’t listed it for sale locally yet because I really don’t want to deal with people who aren’t serious buyers constantly knocking on my door for test drives, so happy bidding.
