I have for sale a 1973 International Scout 2 100" wheel base. This vehicle has the desired 345 V8 with power steering and power brakes. It also has sliding rear windows. The top is removable but it takes 3-4 guys to do it. All window glass is in good condition. The body has the usual rust issues that is common with older Scouts. This Scout is a good hunting/fishing rig. I have been using it for a daily driver for about 2 years. I have repaired items as necessary to keep it on the road. I have replaced the fuel pump (it is now electric), performance Holley carbeurator with electric choke, complete tune up, front brakes, battery, new rear driveshaft. Fuel tank flushed/boiled out.The car starts right up. Please note: This vehicle is a great driver and will work fine for off road uses, but it WILL NEVER be a show quality car. If this is what you are looking for..Please keep looking, this is not it! If you want a rig that you can park it anywhere and not worry about parking lot dings and dents, this is it. Odometer says 98000, but I cannot verify it as I bought it used about 2 years ago. Defects: Intermittent neutral safety switch. Starts sometimes in park, otherwise shift to neutral.signal lites don't have return mechanism in steering column.No horn button Otherwise, it runs good. please know that if you agree to purchase vehicle, I expect you to follow thru. I am being honest in my description, having said that I expect the same. If after 48 hours deposit hasn't been paid, it will be relisted and a non payment case will be opened.
