This 1970 Chevy C-10 1/2 ton truck has an 8 foot bed and 12 bolt rear end. I have owned this truck since 2007. When I purchased it, the factory 350 engine and transmission had been removed and sold elsewhere. I had a 283 engine and 350 Turbo transmission installed in the truck after purchasing. I do not have the exact mileage for the engine or transmission but it runs well. If you are wanting a rust free truck, this one is not for you. It needs floor pans, rockers, etc. Look at the photos about the rust issue and decide for yourself. I did not drive this truck much after 2011 when the license expired. It does not have the factory carrier bearing drive shaft. Someone removed it and installed a solid drive shaft. This truck has power steering, but no power brakes (drum brakes). The brakes need work, therefore the buyer must trailer haul the truck to its destination. The truck is close to being able to pass inspection. The horn does not work. The right front blinker does not work, but everything else is ok. The factory rims are on the truck, but the tires are shot. Three tires will hold air. I have an air compressor so we can air up the tires so getting it on a trailer is no problem. I am not parting out this truck so please do not call for parts. This truck is in drivable condition as is. I believe that it has not been abused, but has been exposed to a lot of Missouri road salt. If you do not want a restoration project, please do not bid.
