Vehicle Detail

I doubt there are too many of these around any more. This is a 99% original, as found CB92 Benly. I believe it's a 1961 model, but please do your research. It is a great restoration project that could probably be preserved, as it is in not that bad condition. I've owned the bike for about 14 years. I bought it from the brother of the original owner. The motor slightly melted a piston, which wasn't too uncommon with the cast iron cylinders and cam chain on the side (the pistons were right next to each other and got hot!). The brother took the top end apart for rebuild, and then it sat. The cylinders are still on there standard bore and plenty useable. I bought a set of NOS pistons, among other parts (see pics), and just haven't gotten around to it. You will see the camshaft and some other parts (including the original gaskets, nuts, washes, everything) in the pics that were never put back into the head. To my knowledge, all of the top end parts are accounted for. I believe everything on this bike is original except for the replica chain guard, flyscreen, mudflap, carb covers, tank emblems, and the paint on the tank. Check out the pics for the NOS cables, CYB brake screen, NOS headlight rim, NOS footpeg rubbers, and gasket kit among other parts that are included in the auction. You really won't need much to get it back on the road. I'm not sure if this is the fabled "R" model, or if it has CYB parts added to it. If you are looking at this auction, I'm sure you know what i mean, and likely know more than I do on this subject. Please look at the pics closely and ask questions. Being and old motorcycle, please assume the worst! The bike seems just about complete, but I don't see the brake rod (link between lever and brake cam), and those little half circle exhaust clamp inserts things ( you know what I mean?). The center stand is bent, so the bike leans a bit, and one side of the seat has broken at the weld, needs re-tacked (tried to picture). All paperwork on this bike has been lost over the years. I had to click on "clear" title since there is no option for no paperwork. I will give a bill of sale. I can even give you the address of the former owner in CO, but it's been 14 years and cannot confirm that you will be able to contact him. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility. Deposit is due within 48 hours, full payment within 10 days (unless other arrangements are made). Thanks for looking!!!
