Vehicle Detail

Here for your consideration is nice example of a well maintain 1969 Mach 1 with factory Air conditioning that has been Freon converted and works well. It is a low mile survivor with 25482 miles on odometer . The car has had 3 owners in its lifetime, Me being the 3rd of course. The Second owner, a friend of mine sought the car out in the 2000 , purchased the car and a second motor along with it. This is the story as it was told to him by owner that bought it new and I believe it. Original engine was pulled in 69 with only 5000 or so miles, Dry Stored, and replaced with small block 351W out of 69 mach 1 that was totaled . Vietnam and the war effort kept him away for a while and upon his return the car was driven on occasion by his mother . Always stored in garage . In the 90s the original engine was freshened up and replaced and sold to the second owner in 2000 who as I mentioned is a friend of mine. It remained in his collection until 2014 and purchased by me . I am the documented 3rd owner and have all paperwork from 1969 with Signature of Mother co signing for her son in 1969 along with period correct second motor. So yes, low mileage indeed. It has been upgraded professionally , Electronic ignition, AOD (Overdrive Tranny) and original upgraded 9 inch Ford Positive traction rear end. Runs out nice on the interstate .Aluminum intake painted blue and new Quick fuel 680 Carb that works flawlessly. I still have factory cast intake on shelve. Power steering , power front disc brakes all new lines and master cylinder. Drum rear . Stock Exhaust manifolds , Dual magna flow exhaust, with H pipe, chrome tips, not to loud . The engine is perfect and strong with no issues, Radiator cools well and it never runs warm with air conditioning on, even on the hottest days. No issues anywhere in this car. All lights gauges inside and out work. Interior is in great shape and shows no wear. Factory rim blow horn , Fold down back seat functions perfectly, Dash and Seats perfect, Headliner and carpet as well. Clock in dash keeps perfect time. Speedometer gear change to compliment tranny swap and is spot on MPH . Retro Sound AM/FM Stereo with flash drive to utilize existing never cut dash. New 15inch Magnum 500 wheels with 225/60R15 BFGs bought last yr. I still have factory 14 inch wheels if buyer prefers. Car has new coils springs and lowered 2 inches for better aggressive stance. Aluminum rear Louver . The Factory paint Color is Silver Jade Metallic (Metal Flake Green) and car has had one respray with a little extra Metallic. Green has never been my first choice of colors But I like this Shade. Paint is a 9 out of 10 and still shows very well. A few Knicks around headlights typical of a driver. No Rust anywhere …. All in all a nice example of a survivor , brought nicely into the future that begs to be driven. On May-26-18 at 14:15:45 PDT, seller added the following information:
