Absolutely beautiful R100GSPD Classic. As you know this is a very rare and last year model Airhead GS. The bike has been taken down to the frame and loving restored to ride and collect. Frame has been powder coated and every nut and bolt has been either cleaned, replaced with oem or replaced with stainless steel. Center stand is brand new from BMW. Engine has been gone through and all gaskets, seals and o rings have been replaced. Compression is at top of standard and the same on both cylinders. Brakes have been completely gone through with new pads front and rear. Complete system fluid flush and change and brand new rotors on front wheel. Stainless steel lines have been added to front brakes. Tires are Metzler Tourance with 90% life left on them. Bottom end has been taken down inspected and reassembled. Transmission has been taken down inspected and reassembled. When the tranny was serviced we noticed that the circlip was in place. Either from a previous owner's work or there is a chance that by 1995 the bikes left the factory with the circlip installed. Rear drive has been taken down, inspected and reassembled. Obviously all fresh fluids in engine, tranny and rear end. Clutch is brand new. All rubber parts have been replaced. No expense has been spared in the restoration using all oem parts. Wheels have been soda blasted and straightened to spec. all wheel seals and bearings have been replaced. Carbs have been rebuilt, all cables have been changed. All body work except for the tank have been repainted in the correct black to match the OEM tank. Progressive front fork springs and progressive rear shock. Electrical upgrades include new electronic ignition and an EnDuraLast 450 Watt alternator. Wiring harness has been completely inspected and small sub harnesses have been replaced where necessary. Cosmetics speak for themselves and mechanicals are in as tip top shape as the cosmetics. Corbin single seat has been installed. This bike is ready to go anywhere that a stock GS can go. Fly in and ride it home or I will meet your shipper here and help load the bike. You will absolutely not be disappointed with any aspect of this exceptional airhead. She is a remarkable example of a low original mile airhead which has been readied for the next part of her journey. I am selling at no reserve because my financial position has changed. I'm hoping that the market will bear the full value on this bike.
