For sale, 1996 Lincoln Town Car. Signature Series. This beautiful car is in very nice shape and gets compliments everywhere it goes. The car has been kept in a garage its entire life and it shows. There is no rust, the chrome shines, and the paint sparkles with the clear coat in great shape as well. As seen in the pictures there are some mild scuffs on some of the corners. The only reason I am selling the car is because my wife lost her job and my daughter is starting college in the fall. The car comes with air ride rear suspension with the bags replaced a couple years ago. They fill and level the car perfectly. The ride quality on this car is fantastic. It floats down the street and glides over railroad tracks. On long trips you arrive in style and with all the room inside you never feel cramped. The head liner was professionally replaced a couple years back and looks great. In the last couple of months, I had the front brake discs and pads replaced, the brake fluid flushed, the transmission oil and filter changed. The upper and lower balls joints were replaced with Moog style parts that can be greased and will last forever. All 4 tires were replaced with top quality Goodyear tires and the front end was aligned. The car comes with all the options including memory seats as well as electric lumbar support, and power tilt on both front seats as well as power locks, windows, working AC, power pull down trunk. There is a lever to even adjust the power steering effort. The steering wheel has controls for cruise, changing radio stations, volume, heat and cooling temperatures. The sun visor comes with buttons to work your garage door . The car comes with 5 alloy wheels; the one in the trunk is a full size tire on an alloy wheel. The leather seats are in great shape with less than normal wear on the driver’s seat, the back seat looks like it was never used. The engine and transmission run smoothly. I would not hesitate to take this car on a 1000 mile trip. The only problem is the car needs a new blower motor resistor that controls the fan speed; it runs on low and high only. I have the part it just needs to be installed in the engine compartment. It is a common problem with these cars. It’s about a 20 minute job. Please only bid on this car if you plan to buy it.
