NEW radiator installed approx. 5,000 miles before engine died.I bought this car new in 2000 (model year 2001, the 1st year of PT Cruiser production). This was my baby. Three years ago the engine started making horrible noises and stopped working. Mechanic said I need a reconditioned engine or engine overhaul. I had it towed home and its been sitting here in my driveway ever since. Wife says its gotta go or I'm goin' with it.
