Up for sale is my 1988 Jeep Wrangler. Re-listing this because the last auction winner never paid. (see pictures) The engine in this Jeep is actually from a 1991 Wrangler, and was swapped out by the previous owner. Lots of work has been done to this Jeep. The engine runs great. The previous owner rebuilt the transmission, and it cannot shift any better or any smoother. The 4WD works great. Recent full tune up, oil changes done every 3k with Mobil 1, water pump and thermostat recently replaced. Full brake job, front and rear. I replaced the valve cover with the high quality MOPAR replacement, and it does not leak. I also fixed the crankcase vent grommets by putting some gaskets on them, and they don't seem to be leaking at all, either. Tires are Goodyear Wrangler Radial 235/75R15 with about 15k on them. Note: The title for this Jeep is listed as reconstructed. I do not know the story of why this is the case, and neither does the previous owner. All I do know is that this Jeep drives straight, appears to have a straight body, and runs great. Analog clock does not work, and the radio and cigarette lighter randomly stopped working last summer. A little bit of water sometimes leaks in from the passenger side vent window. Also included:2 sawhorses and steps for do-it-yourself hardtop removal (see picture)Lots of extra little parts, odds and ends, screws, bolts, etc.Bikini top, and what looks like the hardware to install it.I also have a soft top, but it is pretty old and beat up, and missing the rear window. If the winning bidder wants, I can include this for free. If anyone would like pictures of any of this stuff, send me a message. Any questions, feel free to contact me. Although I have attempted to describe this Jeep to the best of my knowledge, it is used and is being sold AS IS, with absolutely no returns, refunds, exchanges, guarantees or warranties of any kind.
