Please read complete description completely before bidding. This car has an engine problem Up for sale is a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has southern ownership and accident free history. The interior is very, very clean, leather is in tip top shape everywhere. This is a NON smoking car. Everything works, no fault lights or in operable gauges, or problems with other accessories (sunroof, windows, etc.). The exterior is clean and rust free but has scratches on both sides of the car near the body side molding. There are a few small dents near the wheel arches. Now the engine... The car starts and drives and the transmission seems good, but the engine is knocking. The sound goes away at idle at times, but will return if you rev the engine. Oil pressure is good upon start-up, and as the car gets up to temperature, the oil pressure drops and knocking returns. This would be a great car with a new engine (if it needs one), or a great parts car for the interior and drive train. But for now, it needs Jeep Nation to save this one! He says the motor is good, it's just a known rocker problem common with the 4.7 motors. He said there is a complete description of the problem, videos and an easy fix to the noise.
