Up for sale is a 2012 Ford Transit Connect Wheelchair Van with Ricon Hydraulic lift system and 5 point wheelchair locking using q-restraints, also included. Listed at $9500 but negotiable. The Good: Mechanically this vehicle is sound, has no issues, no check engine lights, everything works, head lights, wipers, interior lights, turn signals, or anything that you will have to have a mechanic fix. Engine starts right up, transmission is smooth, shocks are great, and drives just the way it should. It is a turn key vehicle and will not let you down when you get it. The Bad: Ricon wheelchair lift system works great. The only issue with the ricon system are the buttons that make it go up and down. The control was unfortunately cut off by accident and needs repairing. Im told its a $500 fix. The black tips of the ramp dont go down on there own due to a couple screws that need replacing. Once these two very minor things are fixed the hydraulic system works perfect. It still works with manual bar release, and still goes up with the button we added. Also the front windshield is cracked and needs replacing. Its got a couple very minor dings and scratches but not very noticeable. I dont have the time to fix these things so Im selling as is. My loss is your gain, im selling lower than these wheelchair vans sell for, im taking offers and selling fast. So please make an offer you might just get it. If your not looking for a wheelchair van, you can always remove the lift and use as a great utility vehicle for delivery service company kind, cake flowers etc. Shipping is at your cost, once an offer is agreed upon, and payment clears I will meet with your carrier to load and go asap.
