*** Please read the ENTIRE ad BEFORE bidding. *** This is a 2005 Volkswagen Passat Turbo Diesel GLS with an automatic transmission. It has been well maintained and has all of the service records. Most performed by the VW dealer where the car was purchased. It had been garage kept except for the last 7 months or so when we purchased it. The previous owner lived on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and drove to Annapolis or Baltimore 5 days a week. Hence, the 222,781 miles on the car. THE BAD: - The check engine light has come on with the code P0741. This happened to the previous Owner and we knew about it when we purchased the car. We drove the car from Maryland to South Carolina (450 miles) and the check engine light came on once in VA when it was raining. We reset it and it has not come back on. Since this was such a nice car and well kept, we planned on having the problem fixed after we purchased the car. However, due to other financial issues that have come up, we can no longer get the car repaired. - Every now and then the key fob will not unlock/lock all the doors just the driver's door. - The car has a small dent on the passenger side rear door (SEE PICTURES). It has small imperfections from highway use (stone chips, etc.) too. - The passenger side fog light lens is cracked. - The driver seat has a wear tear on the left bolster from getting in and out of the car (SEE PICTURE). THE GOOD: - Clear Title - Very clean car. - Two key fobs w/keys - New VW First Aid kit (SEE PICTURES) - TDI diesel engine - A/C, PS, electronic windows & locks - Side air bags - Sun Roof - Monsoon Stereo with CD and Tape Player - Mileage computer - 4 HD Rubber Passat mats - Almost a full tank of fuel - Just cleaned and waxed - Regular oil and filter changes (see documentation) Here are some of the most recent maintenance records for the car which show that it has had the following repairs taken care of: 08-08-2017 $ 139.95 Check engine light code and provide estimates. 07-25-2017 $1139.20 Change timing belt, replace water pump, replace alternator & AC belt 07-13-2017 $ 427.75 Changed valve cover gasket 03-31-2014 $2275.66 Replaced cylinder head gasket, replaced tie rods, front end alignment and more 09-03-2013 $1944.70 Replaced transmission control module and more. 09-12-2012 $3421.63 Replaced cylinder head and re-timed the vehicle.*** These are just some of the items from the service documentation contained in the envelope. I did not list everything. If you would like the car delivered to you within 400 miles of Green Sea, South Carolina, we will drive it to you for $1.50 per mile extra over and above the final sale price.
