Vehicle Detail

True Old School ‘23 Bucket T roadster. Believe it is a Calif Custom frame and tub kit circa 1970. Notice, this Bucket T is built like the original hotrod style with straight (not dropped) axles and the best parts available in the 70’s. It’s a true “Old School Classic”. Apparently, it was originally built between 1972-’77. It was driven about 5000 miles until about 1982 when it was taken apart and modifications done to it. Car then sat for quite a few years, owner died and I purchased it 3 years ago. Due to other projects, I haven’t had time to work on it so it continues to sit. It needs to go to someone who will have time to work on it and enjoy it. I’ve driven the Bucket briefly……..it’s very fast!! But, because it’s sat so long, the carbs probably need to be cleaned or rebuilt, valves adjusted and timing reset because it idles rough and lags initially. The engine is a Built 289 with solid lifter cam and dual 4 bbl carbs. It has casting marks showing 351 heads installed and probably 351 cam (noted firing order). I believe it's a built 1980 Ford AOD automatic with Mr. Gasket slap shifter and a Lincoln rear end with new bearings and seals. The frame is the version that allows shock and coil spring mounting for the rear end. Disc brakes in front and drum in the rear and working Park brake. The rims are 1966 Mustang "Shelby Classic". New upholstery installed 3 years ago but not ever sat in. Lights work but no turn signals at the moment. All new gauges (isspro). Starts and runs (rough at the moment) and is completely drivable but has been sitting for some time so needs tuned and some tlc. Top windshield glass has small crack on driver’s lower side which is about one inch long. Amateur paint job but looks good from 10’ away…….poor flame pinstripping. Great entry level roadster with good components. $500 non-refundable deposit due at close of auction. Full payment within 3 days of close of auction. Cashier's check must clear before vehicle will be released. Will consider full payment with PayPal. A 5% discount will be considered with CASH IN HAND payment. There are no warranties with this sale. I'm willing to help load the vehicle on a transport truck or will even consider personally delivering within a 500 mile distance from Grants Pass Oregon for round trip fuel costs, basically about 10-12 miles per gallon. Whatever works best for you. I just don't have the time or the space anymore for this vehicle. Too old and too many projects!! Email for further information of other specific pictures.
