1980 Scout Traveler Diesel with only 62,000 original miles. If you are looking for a 1980 Diesel Scout that you can trust to take anywhere, this is it. This vehicle is in very good condition. Great interior (no rips or cracks, carpet like new). The diesel engine runs GREAT (really purrs). It was heavily weather proofed at the dealership. No rusted floorboards. Newer tires with very low miles on them. I am the third owner. The owner of the IH dealership in town was the first owner until 1999. Second owner purchased with 52,000 original miles. He used it to plow his driveway and short drives around town. He averaged under 500 miles a year and always stored in garage.
