Vehicle Detail
There was a dot on my camera lens when I took these pictures, it is not a blemish/rust or anything of the sort. All the imperfections that are noticeable are pointed out and pictured with my finger. There are some that will likely come out with a really good detailing/buffing job. Only 2,509 were made in 2004. -730 made in Silver/Black-Unknown made without sunroofs (I've been told 12, but there's absolutely no way to verify that), but it's quite rare as sunroofs were a standard option. I purchased the car in 2012 with 148,000 miles. Car has had all the normal V1 problems, most have been fixed, some still remain. It is currently able to be driven, I've probably put ~1000 miles on it over the past few weeks after letting it sit for 6-7 months, but some of the issues will need to be addressed rather soon. See below. Car has a clean Kansas title in my name. Has been registered in Texas since 2012/2013. I let the registration expire while I wasn't driving it, so it will come with a temporary permit.2004 Cadillac CTS-VLS6 5.7 v8T56 6 speed manual transmission193,000 milesSilver Ext.Black Int.No sunroofA/CHeatHeated power seats Original keys w/ key fobsMods/Maintenance-Alradco custom made full aluminum radiator ($500)-Phillistine Tilton Clutch Master ($400) - One off clutch master made by a V forum member in collaboration with Tilton. It addresses many of the faulty factory hydraulic issues-Ls7 clutch-Revshift motor mounts-Hurst short throw shifter-Skip shift delete-rear o2's deleted/turned off-Stock manifolds, x pipe, gutted cats, manual cutouts. The car has full length exhaust, just no mufflers behind the axle. It sounds great, but likely won't pass inspection if your state has it. I've never had an issue here in Texas.-5 lug swap in the frontZR1 replicas in the frontc5 hubs245/285 Nitto Nt555's-Brand new Group 78 battery (5 year warranty)-I rebuilt the NAV unit when I bought it years ago (including all new buttons $$$$)Car looks just as good as a 100-150k car. It has been well taken care of by myself for the past nearly 7 years, as well as the previous owner whom I purchased it from. The paint is in incredible shape, with only a handful of noticeable scratches/chips (aside from the front bumper obviously). The bad:-2nd gear synchro is out (it does have almost 200k miles)-Slave cylinder is weeping. It's not enough to drip on the ground, but it will need to be replaced eventually-Stability control system has has issues, I've always kept it turned off. Every single V1 has this problem, regardless of miles -3-4 door dings - noted in pictures-Dash pad near windshield has some cracks (common GM)-Rear driver side C pillar plastic has broken clip from the wind (again, GM plastic)-Car has some very minor vibration. It sat for 6-7 months, tires might have some flat spots. -Front calipers were shaved on the corners to fit another set of wheels that were on it. Has 0 effect on the functionality of the brakes. On Apr-09-18 at 10:17:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Stock front wheels will come with the car (one has a small crack on the inside - it was slowly losing air)Some other misc stock parts It is going to the dealer tomorrow for some recall fixes (lol) Short video of driving the car:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIOUhJu9CIM
