Vehicle Detail

1967 Pontiac Firebird Automatic and starts and runs well. So here is the short story of my car. I bought this car eight years ago from a small used sports car Chevy dealer in Eugene Oregon during the recession. I had it primed and repainted to a Firebird correct color: Verdoro Green. As it was hard to start on occasion, I replace the Holly 4- barrel carburetor with easy to start Edelbrock carb. The other enhancements were minor, new fuel tank, new seals on the brake booster, new battery, and realignment of tires so it didn't drift. However over the last several years I rarely drive it and I no longer want to keep it stored and insured to be drive. It’s a very cool car for those looking to take it out on weekends and impress your dates with an American Classic muscle car. It starts and runs fine and is ready to drive. It’s only going to go up in value so there is really no way to loose money on the car unless you over-invest in modifications. This car isn't going to win any shows, its in overall good condition but its not a show car and some parts aren't original as far as I can tell. Lowlights - Heater and AC dont work, never bothered with getting them working Hood is serviceable but springs are offset or hood is uneven because it doesn't close correctly. Front seats seem to be from a 1976 Firebird not a 1967. Steering wheel doesn't look original.Odometer and Speedometer dont work, , DMV didn't care and it's currently plated with a clean title. Driver side door handle needs a couple of screws but door functions fine. Some minor dents and scratches I expect you to hire a local mechanic to inspect this car before putting in a serious bid, ‘ll be happy to meet your mechanic at my place. You can email me with your interest and I'll give you my cell number unless you sound like a weirdo. Here are a couple videos of YouTube my car, one is brand new one is during the painting process.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uovbVwxBYtI It is being sold without warranty and as is... She runs and drives like a 1967 FirebirdI require a $500 dollar nonrefundable down payment at the end of the auction. It must clear before I ship The remainder is due within 3 days of auction end. Please do not bid on this auction unless you are serious about owning this vehicle. I expect you to hire a local mechanic or inspector to check it out before serious bids, Don't bid on this car unless you have a decent feedback reputation or else I will cancel your bid. Don't try to scam me, I'm an engineer and inherently analytical and suspicious. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. I will make sure I'm available to help you with shipping. If I have no serious bids 12 hours before the end of auction I'm going to cancel the auction, and either sell it locally or later, so dont wait until the last minute to price snipe.thanks for your interest. Also if the winner of the auction doesn't pay me I will offer a "buy it now" price on the next ebay auction but until then don't ask me to sell it early. I want to give people a fair chance to bid, hopefully a car enthusiast, not a professional car re-sellers who keep contacting me locally. https://youtu.be/oe5PGM7_WFk
