Up for auction is a nice driver quality 1976 MGB with only 86,400 miles on the odometer. I'm selling the car for my brother who recently suffered a back injury and needs funds to cover medical bills. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. This is you chance to get a nice looking, running and driving MGB way the heck below the current market value. This a true turn key car. Mechanical s: The car runs great and drives very nicely. Very good throttle response and gets down the road very nicely. Car starts right up with no issues, smoke or noises. No engine ticks, taps or rattles. Car holds right around 60 lbs of oil pressure. Runs drives great with no issues that I'm aware of. No body squeaks or rattles when driving the car. The car was just serviced with a tune up, air filter, oil change & filter, new fuel filter and the carburetor was tuned / balanced. Other work done in the past was new shocks, new coils, new leaf springs, new dampers, new gas tank and new tires, new radiator, new clutch master cylinder, new ignition wires, new cap, new rotor button and some front end items like king pins. Gauges: All gauges are correct "Smith" brand. Electrical's : This area is in very good condition with the following items in proper working order. Head lights work ( high and low beam ), front maker lights work, front indicator lights work, front side markers work, front running light work, rear running lights work, rear indicator lights work, rear side maker lights work, rear brake lights work, rear back up lights work, licence plate lights works, blower fan works, windshield wipers work, courtesy light works, horn works, radio works. Heck even the trunk light works when you open the lid. Try to find one like this Exterior: Great looking car in Damascus red. The car shows well in the photos and presents herself well in person ( a spring waxing would make her look even better). All glass in scratch and cloud free. No dings or dents anywhere on the car or bumpers I can find. Find no evidence of any rust or rust repairs on the car. Car sits a bit high in the rear due to all the new suspension items but should level off after time and use. Nice clean / straight bumpers. Doors / hood and trunk lid fit like new. A very nice looking 42 year old driver quality car. Interior: Looks nice and tidy as seen in the photos. Seats have no tears, good carpet and floor mats. Soft Top: The soft top is new as seen in the photos and was professionally fitted and installed. Covers: Car comes with a top cover and Tonneau / cockpit cover. These are must haves for looks and protecting the soft top and interior. Also comes with a car cover. Trunk: The trunk is rock solid and has a like new carpet kit in it.
