Up for sale is a 2005 Subaru Forester X with 210,000 miles. I purchased this vehicle about 2 years and 15,000 miles ago. KBB value private sale in good condition is $1,900 - $4,300 so with the additions to the car I'm starting the price at $3,000. I have the clean CarFax report, no accidents or flood damage what so ever. The car is originally from New Mexico and is rust free with no body damage. There are multiple rock chips and scratches on the paint indicative of a 12 year old car. Mechanically the car is great, I have replaced or upgraded many items. Here is a list of what is new on the car in the past 2 years. Swift sport springs & KYB Struts all around - Lowered the car a little over an inch and firmed up the suspension. WRX STI front and rear sway bars - tightened up the cornering considerably, it handles more like a WRX wagon than an SUV. WRX 16" Aluminum Wheels - Replaced the stock 15" steel wheel, much lighter and looks better. Tsudo Stainless unequal length header and cat back exhaust - gives it a great boxer sound but comes with an optional silencer to keep sound at stock levels. Kart Boy shifter kit to firm up the play in the shifter. Kenwood DVD Head Unit with bluetooth, Audiobahn Amp, CDT HD coax speakers up front and 10" Arc Audio sub. Receiver hitch and trailer wiring harness, it's not rated to pull much but great for bike rack or small trailer. Window Tint all around, 35 up front and 20 in the rear. Preventative Maintenance Items: Replaced AC compressor and recharged system, blows ice cold now. Replaced both front axles due to leaking CV Boots. This has been a great reliable car. All of the maintenance is up to date as are the emissions and safety inspections. Car does leak a little oil which is typical of a higher mileage Subaru (you will not need to top it off with 5000 miles change intervals) but it does not burn oil and there are no head gasket leaks which can be a common problem as well.
