1985 Honda CR 500 NO RESERVE You Bid - You Buy Up for sale is my 1985 Honda CR 500. I acquired the bike in a package deal quite some time ago. It was sitting in the prior owner's basement. He told me he quit riding it because it was leaking coolant around the water pump housing. The bike has very strong compression and blue spark which makes me believe it will run with some tinkering. The prior owner also gave me a complete plastic kit which goes with the bike. Some of the plastic is NOS and some is aftermarket. The bike has a rear spoke missing and the exhaust pipe is bent. The radiators are nice and square and the rear shock has good dampening. If you know any history about the 1985 CR 500 it has the most horsepower out of all the production CR 500's. I've recently seen these bikes sell for 7000 - 8000 restored. I have way too many hobbies and projects, so I am letting this go as a sold as-is sale.
