Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I am reluctantly selling my Pearl Altair White 1982 Honda CBX 1000 Super Sport SS Only 14,431 miles. I purchased the bike last year but I just don’t have time to go through it. This bike is from Florida and cosmetically in excellent condition. It will need a complete service to be street worthy again. Mechanically and cosmetically the bike is all stock / original. This is the last year they made the CBX and it is the pro link touring model. Please read the entire AD before bidding. BODY: Cosmetically the bike is very clean, the new owner will not be disappointed. The original paint is in excellent condition. No dings or dents in the tank and all of the plastic is intact, very very minor crack at the bottom of the right side cover (hard to notice). The seat is in great shape Some small scratches on the right side luggage case from maneuvering in the garage. The luggage cases are in great shape, this has the original Honda key that opens everything. This bike would look even better if some of the engine covers / valve cover was polished up. Please inspect all pictures for condition. ENGINE & CHASSIS: New Battery, This bike starts and runs BUT only with the choke on. Again it will need to be fully serviced. The carburetors will need servicing, the gas tank will need to be cleaned and should be coated. When I started the bike I used an auxiliary fuel bottle, I didn’t run it on the tank. All of the brakes are sticky and they will need to be serviced. All of the lights and electrics work great. The bike is sold with an open Florida Title and Bill of sale. The original owner’s manual, tool kit and Honda air pressure gauge is included. The bike is SOLD AS IS no warranty. I have no problems with meeting a shipper, but the buyer must set that up. NO PAYPAL accepted. If shipping the bike, you can send a check and the bike can be picked up after payment has cleared. Or payment can be made in cash upon pickup.
