Up for sale is a 2006 ford Taurus SE with 3.0 v6, 90,000 miles +/-. This is a project car so There is a reason it's listed cheap: Bought this for my son from a municipality. Wanted it safe for him so we went through it top to bottom: new brakes, rotors, and tires all around. We replaced the brake lines. It's a good solid car that gets good mileage, has an immaculate interior, and no rust. The black paint is a little faded. My son used it awhile then took it to florida. He reported a power loss on ride home. There was a misfire so replaced coil, plugs, and wires to no effect. Took it to mechanic who says it needs a valve job. I haven't had much luck with mechanics so I'm punting this for parts. If you are mechanically inclined, or can get a valve job done reasonably, here's a nice cheap car for you. It has a lot of nice features like ac, pl, pw, cruise controll, CD etc. Nice car . This is for parts, as is where is. Listed at the price of scrap. There are no guarantees the mechanics diagnosis is correct. Hopefully you get this running right and you have a nice car.
