Vehicle Detail
This is a no reserve auction and will go to the highest bidder. My truck is not listed anywhere else. I will let this auction determine the market value. I have had lots of luck selling several of my cars on here at no reserve and starting at $100.00. You are bidding on an all original, numbers matching C-10 Cheyenne Super with a wood bed and many rare options. There has been a lot of maintenance work done on the truck over the last couple of years including new exhaust after the manifold with a Magnaflow muffler, new cap/rotor, points, plugs and wires, oil and filter, air filter and I had the carb rebuilt at Pacific Carburetor in Ventura. We have fun taking it to local car shows and cruise around town. It is registered and insured. I bought it as a project to work on with my son three years ago but just don't have the time or space to work on it so it must go. I have the original side moulding; which is in excellent condition, that is missing in the pictures and bed storage door that was taken off of the truck. This auction comes with a brand new in box Mar-K Oak wood bed kit with polished stainless rails and mounting hardware, a Boyd Welding Aluminum gas tank (with sending unit, roll-over valve and mounting kit) and many other original parts that have been taken off of the truck. I have spent of 2000.00 on parts that are NIB. I do have the original hub caps and A/C mounting brackets. The compressor and original AM/FM radio are missing but the dash and doors have not been cut. The truck was ordered with a few very rare RPO options like Cheyenne Super package, Tachometer, A/C, AM/FM radio, tilt wheel and tool & storage box. It also has the very rare original GM dealer installed factory bed rails. Those have sold for over 500.00 on eBay. This truck is all original. I have included pictures of the locations with rust. The cab corners, rockers and part of the lower doors have small rust spots. There is also a couple of small spots above the A-pillers that are hidden under the windshield moulding. The underside is clean an I have not found any rust other than I have listed. The hood has surface rust only. I will not end this auction early. It will go to the highest bidder. Cashiers Check must be cleared by my bank prior to pickup. A 1000.00 deposit is required within 24 hours of the end of the auction and final payment within 72 hours. The buyer shall contact me within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Pick up and Transport shall be within one week unless otherwise agreed to. I am always willing to work with a shipper. You must provide me their contact information to verify their pick up schedule. Wire transfer is preferred. If you have no bidding history, you must call me before you bid or your bid will be deleted. You can call me at 805-216-9099 with any questions and are welcome to come see and drive it. I am in Ventura. Have a great day and happy bidding. Sincerely, SteveOn Feb-26-18 at 18:57:31 PST, seller added the following information: These pictures were taken on Monday February 26th. I washed the truck up and took it for a drive. I will have video up soon too. https://imgur.com/a/bVywnOn Feb-26-18 at 20:32:41 PST, seller added the following information: Videos of walk around and several drives. https://youtu.be/SMnOEL8PNgM https://youtu.be/jJgAfXjIJeU https://youtu.be/vmwsxQ6UJUY On Feb-26-18 at 20:35:33 PST, seller added the following information: Additional video https://youtu.be/OmTQdP6kYvYOn Feb-26-18 at 21:18:18 PST, seller added the following information: ***Try using the full site of the pictures or videos won’t load. I’m having trouble viewing them on the eBay app but they load easily on the full site.*** Please remember that this is almost a 50 year old original truck and being sold as is. If you have any specific questions, please call or text me. Sincerely, SteveOn Feb-26-18 at 22:23:44 PST, seller added the following information: The plates shown in the pictures are DMV clear, but are not assigned to my truck. I have a new set of plates that are registered and included. I keep them in the truck at all times. I installed the side moulding and under bed storage door today. The truck runs and drives great as shown in the pictures but I express no warranty. The videos are a great representation of my truck. Anyone is welcome to test drive it prior to the end of the auction. On Feb-27-18 at 12:38:25 PST, seller added the following information: The license plates and frames shown in the pictures are included with truck. On Feb-27-18 at 15:25:09 PST, seller added the following information: This is a 5 lug truck. 1971 was the first year that the 5 lug was standard on the 1/2 ton. I have had several people ask me this question. On Mar-01-18 at 11:45:11 PST, seller added the following information: ***Beware of reproduction SPID decals on the glove box door. They are readily available on the internet. If it doesn’t look almost 50 years old, it probably isn’t. Build sheets are a must if you want a real Cheyenne Super. The font on the reproductions are pretty close but not perfect. My truck is an original Cheyenne Super. I have one build sheet under the seat and the original SPID on the glove box door. Compare it to others listed on here. ***
