Up for auction is a nice 2001 f250 4x4 with utility body and 8' western plow. Truck runs great, transmission shifts as it should, 4x4 and hubs work great. Its got a newish battery and a new alternator. Tires are good. All in all this is a turnkey f250 with a utility body that is an animal plow and work truck. Buy it now, work her tomorrow with confidence. I picked this up at an auction two years ago. It was mdc owned so it had good maintenance history. I have also kept her well with regular oil changes, fluids, and a brake job all around. This is a nice truck with absolutely no mechanical issues. The only two issues I can think of with this truck are rusty cab corners and the utility doors on the box are finicky. But this by no means a rust bucket. Its very good for its age. The 8' plow is also in good shape. We blasted and painted it black a while ago and had the pump rebuilt. It got a new cylinder and hoses per routine maintenance last winter. It has performed this winter with no issues. It will need a cutting edge going into next winter. This is a good, reliable truck that's had a good maintenance history. It will make someone a solid reliable work and plow truck. Its been great for us. When i was starting out I got burned buying a bad truck and it hurt us bad.
