Vehicle Detail

Hello folks, today a very good opportunity has presented itself. The opportunity to own a truly unique vehicle.Up for sale is a 1999 Ford Crown Victoria, and I know what your thinking, "isn't that what grandpa used to drive?" Well....the answer is yes. But since then this fine automobile has been treated to some very tasteful modifications to help the vehicle to reach its full potential.*Fully custom cat-back exhaust made by J&L Muffler in Medford OR featuring custom made X pipe, CGS Motorsports stainless mufflers, and dual 22" long 3 1/2" inch diameter stainless steelpolished exhaust tips that are very reminiscent of the Mercury Marauder exhaust tip, it has an aggressive but drivable exhaust note.*2012 Shelby GT500 rear lower control arms*ADTR sway bars front and rear with polyurethane bushings*Bilstein HD shock absorbers*car has been converted to limited slip by LSX specialties Medford OR, also changed over to 3.55 gears, Entire rear end was gone through and all wear parts were replaced. Ford racing carbon fiber clutches, Trickflow extended fluid capacity diff cover, lubricated with Amsoil full synthetic gear oil. VSS was changed out with a new STEEDA piece so the speedometer is dead on.*cross drilled and slotted rotors with carbon fiber pads*17x8 Hotwheels Sixtie Eights made by KMC(Have Hotwheels logo in the center) (very rare and desirable set of wheels)*almost brand new Cooper RS3-A tires on rear(2k miles) toyo proxies on front with tons and tons of life left in them.*custom fabricated badgeless honeycomb grille*tasteful aftermarket taillights with CREE LED's*car is wired for subs*the body is INCREDIBLE shape. only a few, very minor little dings and what not. there is of course the usual rock chips that comes with mileage.*the paint is SUPER bright and looks great! It's been kept clean and waxed regularly*air conditioning and heater are both fully operational and work very well.*x2 toggle switches mounted on dash for operation of aftermarket fog lights. The car no longer has the auxiliary lights installed. And I guarantee there is more that I am forgetting, this is just a small list I came up with off the top of my head. The car runs fires right up, runs like a Swiss watch, and no matter where you go, the car handles it like a champ. Highway cruising or corner carving. The factory spring rates provide a smooth, comfortable ride even on rough roads, but when you head for the hills the aftermarket parts take over and it handles like it's on rails. It is a car that you can drive to work for five days a week, then when the weekend comes you can zoom up a winding road with a great big grin on your face.I usually get about 18mpg around town and I just ran it up to Portland and with cruise set between 70-75mph and averaged 24mpg.Yet another perk of this beautiful vehicle, It is not uncommon on my morning commute to have a vehicle pull off the side the road and wave me past, traffic will often clear up and somehow it is almost always my right of way.*Oxford white*133xxx miles.*no service needed for another 4500 miles.*always run full synthetic oil*brakes bled 5k miles ago*cruise works*All electronics work flawlessly (with the exception of the rear door locks, sometimes one side, sometimes both. Very common problem on these cars. Just replacing the locking actuator should alleviate the problem.)*The car also is equipped with the police higher output alternator, which has been replaced recently and I put a new serpentine belt on at the same time.*fuel filter 8k miles ago*new intake manifold with aluminium coolant cross over to fix the cracking problem that plagued 4.6 sohc engines.*new IAC valve within the last 200 miles to correct a small idle fluctuation.*PVC valve checked and is in perfect working condition same time as new IAC.You'll be extensively hard pressed to find a better example of the Ford Crown Victoria. It is exactly how it should have come from the factory, not overbuilt to the point where it's hard to drive on the street, not underbuilt to the point where you can't have any fun with it. It is a very good medium between what we want and what we should have ;)The way it sits, the only thing the car needs is gasoline and a butt for the seat.I truly hate to sell her, the only reason I am is because I picked up another Crown Vic to tinker with and hate to see this car sitting.Clean Oregon title in hand.
