2008 LOTUS ELISE CALIFORNIA EDITION - SAFFRON YELLOW - MAGNOLIA/BLK - ONLY 12,xxx MILES!! CLEAN CAR FAX!! This one is a very special Lotus, only 25 made in 2008. There were a total of 50 California Edition Elise made in 2008, but half (25) were made in Saffron Yellow and the other half in Ardent Red. Both had the same interior, but there were several extras added to these cars. So in addition to the standard options that they added, ie Touring package, Sport package, And Hard Top, they also added Starshield and many more features. There are only 25 of these in the US. The supercharger did not come with it from the factory (none did), this was added (at a great expense) and gives you 220 HP, which makes a significant difference in a car that weighs in under 2000 lbs. There are not many cars for the money that are as much fun as a Lotus Elise. It is the most direct and driver oriented car on the market!! Elise ended production in 2011 and they are no longer being brought into the US as a street car. These are sure to increase in value as they have over the last several years!!
