1956 V8 Hardtop Convertible. LOW reserve when comparing to the value of this car, its condition, and all that it offers! This car has both tops - the Hardtop with Porthole and the Soft-Top (as pictured). Original 312 V8 engine, power steering, power brakes, power windows, and power seats- all of it works! This car is equipped with all the factory extras. The electrical works good. The car has a cassette radio installed, however, included in the sale is the original radio that I have packed in a box. The motor is in great shape and strong. Rebuilt carburetor. It does not use up oil and there is no smoke. This car is a great example of the 1956 Thunderbird with its original factory paint, body fill has never been used on this car. The car needs new paint to be at show quality. I bought this car a few years ago and installed a new gas tank, new gas pump, water pump, belts and hoses, and distributor vacuum advance. It also has new battery and new front/rear shock absorbers. The brakes have been repaired and installed brake hoses. It has its original continental kit with spare tire. Interior is in excellent condition. There is a crack in the passenger side window. The floor pans are in excellent condition. There does not exist rust on the body nor on the rockers. I drive it to various shows here in the state, while maintaining it under a roof. Car runs and drives like a dream. You can drive this many miles! Included in the sale are some original manuals for the car. Conditions: Sale is considered final, with no returns.
