This 57 year old F-100 is in absolutely amazing condition. The truck was originally owned by a mining company in Colorado, and from there it went to Kansas where it was restored and received the engine upgrade. Spending it's life in these two states obviously contributed to the trucks nearly rust free condition. All floor pans are rust free and solid. Cab supports are solid. At some point years ago the trucks under body was coated this obviously helping greatly on no rust issues. The only spot I have found is on the rear passenger lower fender about the size of a half dollar, as can be seen in photos. Then the paint while overall still looks great for 13 years old, has several cracking areas as shown in photos as well. But for a 13 year old restore the truck looks great and turns heads wherever it goes! All glass is perfect with the exception of the passenger vent glass which is cracked. These are readily available by several suppliers. When the truck was restored it also received an upgrade under the hood with a very stout 352. It has a mild RV cam, no smoke, no leaks, runs very strong as it has less than 12,000 miles on it since the rebuild. The engine runs flawless and is an absolute match for this truck! Four speed with granny gear, clutch & transfer all work perfectly. Every light, turn signal, gauge, spot lights, heater, even cigarette lighter all work! The past 13 years the truck simply just has not been driven much. It has been in parades, car shows, photo shoots, and even made several senior proms! Besides the small cosmetic issues, the truck is mechanically and structurally solid as can be. Tires are all like new, spare has never been on the ground. These 3rd generation F-100's, (1957-1960) are fast rising in value in the collector truck market. And the factory production four wheel drives, especially in this condition are becoming very hard to find. The 1960 was just the 2nd year that Ford began producing the 4x4's in house. Reserve has been set well below 'Average' NADA values for this truck. Whomever wins the auction will be getting one beautiful beast. Getting behind the wheel of this thing is like stepping back in time, when a truck was a truck! I am also very happy to take as many additional photos as anyone would like to see of the vehicle.
