For sale is an original unrestored 1967 Fairlane 500 XL Fastback. VIN # 7H40C139145 I purchased this car from the original family that bought it new on Jan. 28th, 1967. From grandfather to grandson to me. The only reason I am selling is I have purchased a mustang HIPO and need to sell this car and another to fund the restoration. I have replaced the heater core, rebuilt the original carburetor, and added dual exhaust. I also have the original window sticker and bill of sale. Completely rust free unaltered time capsule. It has a few minor dings that show its age and authenticity. I did not have the courage to touch them up which could look worse than the dings. The interior is all original too. No rips or tears. Equipped with 289 two barrel, C-4 automatic, power steering, AM radio, left remote mirror, deluxe seat belts, and Frost Turquoise paint. I have driven the car less than 300 miles since buying it, spending most of my time finishing the rotissorie restoration on our 1963 falcon wagon. Documented 38,000 actual miles.
