This is an original engine two top 1966 Corvette Convertible. It has its original matching number 327/350hp L79 engine and its original matching number 4-spd transmission. Last year it was painted back to its original color of Silver Pearl (code 986). It has side exhaust plus both the convertible top and hard top. I have a new soft top and weather stripping for the top, but they have not yet been installed. The engine runs great and the transmission is excellent. It has a new clutch and four new calipers plus a new engine wiring harness. The seats, door panels and dash are all good. The carpeting is new. The tires, suspension and rear end are all good. the frame is nice. Some of the gauges are not working and the headlight motors need replacing. The radio works, but the wipers and a couple lights are intermittent. The windshield has some small cracks in the top left corner outside the sweep of the wipers, but I have another windshield that is included in the deal. Overall this is an excellent, original engine, very desirable 350hp roadster that although is not perfect is far ahead of most cars. I am selling it to purchase another car so please be serious if you bid.
