1978 Trans Am, Was Painted Black Wanting to go BACK to it's Original Gold Special Addition:You are looking at a 1978 "Bandit Looking" Trans Am. Originally it was a Gold Special Edition (Y88), repainted black.It has the original Fisher Body "gold" T-Tops very limited amount made with these T-Tops. The car has been modified and is NOT numbers matching. Owner has the PHS docs. Was 220 h.p /auto but currently has Hi-Po Pontiac engine with 670 heads, 400 trans w/ shift kit, and stall converter. Runs very strong. Is loaded with options. Owner has purchased some core parts to put original stock options back on the car included with Sale. Not that rusty. Has a 2" hole in the floor by drivers left foot plus small spots in the usual places. Better than average body. Have 2 sets of tires/wheels to go with car. 8" wheels may not be original/correct for car and 10" wheels. Seat bracket and seat belt retractors not good. Interior/ electrical systems need some tender loving care. True mileage unknown. Car lot runs and drives, however best to trailer away. Good Michigan title. Comes with a truckload of spare parts that it needs.
