This 1988 Toyota LandCruiser shows just over 190K miles. I've owned it for about 18 months, bought from a neighbor who had it for about 10 years, During my ownership I had rear quarter panels rust repair (cut in new steel), and some repaint - that's the lower panel in dark gray to match the blue body. All mechanical work has been done by Overland Cruisers, a Bozeman MT Cruiser specialist owned by the President of the Montana chapter of the LandCruisers Association - 406 Cruisers. Front end work included knuckle rebuild, bearings, servicing the transfer case, transmission fluid and gear oil. It has a new alternator and battery. It's been tuned up, had all needed hoses, belts and seals replaced The Firestone Destination tires have less than 2k on them. Last summer, the AC was recharged with R12 and it blew cold all summer. There is an updated Alpine stereo system with amp and sub. New Thule roof rack. This truck runs really well - shifts easily into 4 Wheel Hi and Low. The interior is in fantastic shape, as the guy I bought it from had seat covers on it for the entire 10 years he had it. The covers did their job - they are little faded and have a few stains, but come with this truck if you want to put them back on. This is a pretty clean example of an old FJ62 as it's been in Montana for the past 25 years (no road salt) But at nearly 30 years old, it's not perfect. The last 7 photos show some surface rust, and road rash, as well as a wrinkle in the drivers door where it was "sprung" when it was caught by a gust of wind. There is also some mismatched blue paint.
