Thank you for looking at our lovely 240D. This car is definitely a survivor. Spent it's life in the Dust Bowl. Most of these old 115 chassis Benzs have rotted lower doors, rockers, wheel and trunk wells. Not this one. A couple minor spots of surface corrosion at the body side moldings is all. The body is extremely straight for it's age and the interior shows only minimal wear. Mechanically, the diesel starts right up and runs smooth. The transmission shifts nicely and the car stops smooth and straight. The a/c even works as an added bonus. A buyer could enjoy this durable and economic workhorse just the way it is, or take it to the next level with minor cosmetic improvements.
