Vehicle Detail
Hello, My name is Dorian and I own and operate a shop in Los Angeles called DV-Mechanics. I specialize in Alfa Romeo and Porsche service and restoration. I am here on Ebay offering my personal 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition up for sale. I've owned this car for over a year and it has been a fantastic experience. There is truly nothing else like this on the market these days and I like to think of the Alfa 4C as a modern day GTA. First a little background:In 2015 to mark Alfa Romeo's long awaited re-entry to the USA, they made a run of 500 cars which they termed "Launch Editions". These cars came equipped with many options which would later become optional on standard models, most notably the "Track Package" consisting of a “race-“tuned suspension, sport seats, unique wheels, Pirelli P-Zeros, and a muffler-free “racing exhaust” along with all carbon bits such as headlamp assemblies, rear view mirrors, various interior trim parts, unique front bumper with aero features and Alcantara seat centers with highlighted red stitching, and backup sensors, all of which this car has. All the above on top of a 4C's carbon tub chassis make for a gorgeous vehicle that is a super car in every respect. As optioned this car came in at just over $69,000 with most buyers paying a premium on top of that. I purchased this 4C (Launch Edition #118/500), last year from Beverly Hills Porsche which had it as a trade in. It is "Rosso Competizione Tri-Coat" (Red). It currently has 19,5xx miles and it still has the remainder of it's factory warranty (4 years/50K miles) leaving at least 30K miles or about 2 years of warranty left on it, so there is peace of mind there. Though I only put a few thousand miles on the car during my ownership (I have about 7 other cars) I was very meticulous about maintenance and upkeep. The car received an oil change and safety check immediately after I purchased it, and then I had the oil service done again recently. Though I own a service shop, I choose to allow the dealer handle this since I enjoyed visiting. The only service item or issue I've had during ownership was with the stereo head unit. The car was originally equipped with a "Parrot" brand head unit which I found to be very troublesome and unreliable. I had the dealer upgrade the stereo head unit to an Alpine from 2016- Alfa 4C models and it has been trouble free since. It has bluetooth, and a connection for phones. Overall condition of the car is excellent. The paint is original and the car has never been in an accident. Though the car has over 19K miles, the paint has held up very well with only the tiniest of rock chips on the lower part of the front bumper, I'd call it a 9/10 overall. I had the paint treated to a very expensive detail recently and it was treated with a ceramic paint protection system which makes the car really easy to wash and keep clean. The previous owner added some clear bra in various spots around the wheels to help protect the paint. Mechanically the car is perfect with no issues ever, the car runs perfectly and needs nothing. Once again the car is still under it's full transferable warranty. Engine: performs flawlessly with amazing sounds and quick starting and all while getting excellent fuel mileage. No leaks or drips whatsoever. Transmission: also flawless, the dual clutch paddle shift system is telepathic and it learns your driving style, super fun to shift up and down. Interior: I have always kept the interior very clean and there is no excessive wear or rips or tears anywhere. I always fly my behind over the seat bolsters to help preserve them. Alcantara is in great shape and all the red stitching is clean and in prefect shape. There is no wear or tear in any of various controls and I always take care when operating to preserve. Being that I own a shop and love to tinker with improving vehicle performance, I have performed a few bolt-on modifications to this 4C to enhance it's handling and appearance. First modification I made was to remove the factory shocks and springs and replace them with a KW Suspension V2 fully adjustable coilover setup. Second modification I made was to add a geometry kit from Alfaworks UK, this kit is a bolt on kit which alters the suspension geometry slightly (camber and toe) to make the vehicle much more predictable and confident than the factory setup. Along with the suspension upgrades, I performed a precision alignment and corner balance (focused on street driving) and the results of these modifications are a car which is leaps and bounds better than the way 4Cs come from the factory. Lastly and most recently, I added a set of Braid "Full Race" 17x7.5 fronts and 18x8.5 rears along with brand new Toyo R888R tires in 215/45-17 and 235/40-18 respectively. The wheel/tire package has less than 500 miles on it. The grand total of all the add on parts is nearly $8000. Of course I kept all of the original parts and they are all included in the sale of this car. Also included in the sale are all the original factory manuals and accessories (car cover, owners manuals, tool kit, spare key, front license plate frame, various documents, etc). I was hoping to keep this car for a long time but some big home renovations have taken their toll on my finances and I'm looking to free up some space in the shop. I have no doubt I'll be seeking another 4C LE in the next couple of years. I believe I have priced this car very fairly. This car has a clean California title and current registration and insurance. The car has a clean carfax and the vehicle is currently financed with my local credit union. I will need approximately 7-10 days after receiving payment to deliver vehicle title. Reserve is set in the mid 40's, this car is priced to sell.
