Vehicle Detail
This is a very clean example of one of Chevrolet's largest most comfortable cars. The 402 big block is smooth and powerful with upgraded new HEI distributor, cap, rotor, spark plugs, ignition wires, new alternator, new battery, rebuilt carb, new fuel pump, new master cylinder, refurbished 4-core radiator, and new dual Flowmaster exhaust with chrome tips. Brakes are 95%, tires are 1 year old with just over 1000 miles. A/C system works but needs a recharge. It has Power windows and locks. Cruise control was not an option on this Caprice for some reason but a complete cruise system is included. New door rubber and roof seals, new carpet and reupholstered door panels. Seats need to be recovered as well as headliner. All interior trim has been repainted. Many spare parts included. All suspension parts are original except for shock absorbers which have been replaced sometime in its life. This car sat outside for a long time before I purchased it. Vinyl top was removed before I purchased it. I painted it in a molten metal colored enamel. Current mileage reads 391XX which could be original but I can't verify, but judging by the condition of the brake pedal, gas pedal and the condition and cleanliness of the engine it could be possible. The steering is tight, no play and it does not pull. Handling is surprisingly nimble for a car this size (4100 lbs.) and smooth. The body is in decent condition and fairly straight with on repaint sometime years ago. There are some nicks, chipping and cracking but over all it shows well. The worst of the exterior is some of the trim pieces that have had an attempt to be straightened but not all. There is one small piece of trim missing in front of the passenger side rear wheel skirt. On Nov-28-17 at 21:19:11 PST, seller added the following information: This is a very clean example of one of Chevrolet's largest most comfortable cars.
