I am selling a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4x4 with only 16,385 miles and only 642 hrs on the engine. It is an automatic 4x4 with a tow package. I purchased this truck from my employer. I am a school teacher and this was my schools maintenance truck. My school bought this new. It was used to plow our schools small parking lot in the winter, pick up leaves on school grounds, and run errands to Home Depot etc. It has been meticulously maintained by a local Chevy dealership. Our School bought a new truck and I purchased this one to plow my 500ft driveway. I found out that the plow mount was half rusted off, see pic, so Ive decided to sell the truck instead. It runs excellent. The engine and drivetrain work great. It has a 6.0Liter Vortec strong V8 with 4x4 transmissionThe body is in nice condition with only a small rust spot on the side of the hood. Has had transmission and Radiator flushed a couple times and numerous oil changes. The tires have only 16k on them. The lack of use and the salt over the yrs have caused some issues. The truck's frame and under carriage are Extremely rusty and the rear shocks have rusted off the bed. Makes for a bouncy ride. Steering wheel can vibrate at certain speeds. The brakes sometimes pull to one side. The rear bumper has a rot hole. Rear brake light cracked. Back brake lights don't work due to rusted wires but the running lights do work. Muffler and pipes are fine but it has a rust hole on one side of the exhaust manifold you can hear. The service brake light and airbag lights are on. This vehicle runs and drives but Will Not Pass Ma state inspection. The Vehicle is being sold as is with No Warranty. I have a clean title in hand. I was hired as a teacher a month after my school bought this truck. Our school's business manager was loyal to this one chevy dealership. So anytime they recommended something to change or fix, She would just agree to have it done. I have thousands in receipts from this dealership. See pics. She had all brake parts from sensors to , booster, master cylinder, calipers, rotors, drums, pads etc. replaced. Pads and rotors have been done Three times in 11 yrs!!! If the dealer saw rust on the pads, She would have them replaced. Also the power steering pump, cooler, lines, starter, upper control arm, drive shaft, u joints, battery, and the AC blower motor were replaced. The AC wasn't ever used for years. Couldn't of been better maintained. It's a truck that just sat in our small private school parking lot and was driven only 1300 miles a yr. With some work, this could be a nice truck or part it out and double your money.
