Vehicle Detail
I got this car as part of a collection of other Mercedes, I don't know a whole lot about it and it didn't come with service records. I spent a couple of days driving it to get to know it and here are my impressions: No rust, the car was bought new in California. The car starts up easily and doesn't have a lot of smoke for a diesel. Makes good power, feels more like a gas engine than a diesel. Shifts, brakes, and handles well, I haven't noticed any problems there. One repaint in its original color, some flaws here and there. Glass is all good. Quality Goodyear tires with lots of tread. All gauges work, the car shows good oil pressure and stable running temperatures. Vacuum door locks work. The radio works but the power antenna does not. Sunroof works but the tilt function doesn't. Power windows all work. The driver's power seat adjustment is wonky on the up-down setting, the other settings work fine. Climate control works but the AC doesn't blow cold. Fan and plenum positioning works. Some cracks starting on the dash, and some cracking on the wood surrounding the shifter. That piece is easily available to replace if needed. Clean and clear California state title. Car is sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied. Email with any questions. I'm happy to show the car to anyone who would like to drive it, I'm located in Portland Oregon, email for an appt. Seems to be a pretty decent wagon with a few things that need sorting. Hard to find model. NO RESERVE - THE HIGH BID IS THE WINNING BID. Good luck bidding and thanks for looking!
