** NEED GONE **This vehicle would make a great winter project. It's priced well, and, with some work, could make for a great vehicle. Issues that could use to be addressed include the brakes, seals, a new top (the old one is showing age), and some work with the transfer case. The vehicle is priced with this work in mind. With everything fixed, it's easily an $8000 to $10,000 vehicle. I just don't have the tools or time to do it myself, as I live downtown.I would hopefully like to get this vehicle sold this week. Cash talks. I love the Jeep, but I don't need a second vehicle.1997 Jeep Wrangler SE ( TJ ). A number of tasteful, off-road mods. Steel tube front fenders, rough country front bumper, Cold air intake, new radiator with stand alone electric fan (great for off-roading), Vision Wheels, big tires, and new shocks. It does need a tune up. Brakes could use some work, as they do pull a bit when at speed. There is a bit of sound coming from the vehicle when it is in 4x4. I think the cable going from the lever to the transfer case is just loose. Otherwise, the vehicle is fine. It drove 2 hours in the rain to my home from where I bought it.
