Up for auction is my nearly-new CB500x. An extremely fun, lightweight, great handling bike, that unlike many bikes in its size class has a nice fairing for additional wind protection. I've owned dozens of bikes over the years, and this one is literally the easiest, best-fitting bike I've ever had; it's just one of those bikes that you can get on at any time without having to adjust to, and immediately feels like putting on your favorite old pair of Levis. And obviously the quality and dependability of a Honda can't be beat. Did I mention this great little bike also gets 65-75mpg?! A huge plus is just one owner! I bought it new on Jan. 1, 2016. Due to health issues, multiple vehicles, and the busy schedule of running a business and spending time with family, I've only ridden it 350 miles. (It is started and ridden around a parking lot on a regular basis, however). And now that we're discussing my early retirement, it's time to thin out our extensive collection of "play toys"! Mature owner, never raced, thrashed, dropped or mistreated in any way. Never ridden in the rain, always garaged and covered. The tires still have those little nipples and seams attached! It is in pristine condition from top to bottom, and is literally like-new in every way; not a scratch, dent, ding, DNA stain, etc., to be found anywhere. Anything that looks otherwise in the pics is just a reflection or dappling of light. It could really, easily pass for new on a showroom floor.I have the title in hand, so no waiting for the DMV for that, and as a big plus for California buyers, the registration is paid up through January 2018! On to the details - I've added the following items: Honda factory "air deflectors" on the fairing lowers - noticeable improvement to total wind protection at speed. Honda factory CBR1000r mirrors (I thought the angular shape better matched the lines of the bike) Pazzo adjustable brake and clutch levers (real high-dollar Pazzos, not cheap Ebay/Chinese knock-offs) - amazing quality, and a huge improvement to the feel of the controls. R&G muffler hanger and passenger peg delete blocks - these really cleaned up the lines of the bike. The taller 2016 factory windscreen, and a cut-down (and painted black on the inner surface) earlier factory model version that I bought used from another member of the CB500 forum (this one is shown in most of my pics here). So I'm including three windscreens: the stock piece, the taller 2016 version, and the cut-down screen that I love both the looks and the buffer-free riding experience of. All screens are easily removed and swapped in 2-3 minutes at most. I have an indoor cover that I can include, if wanted. I also have a Shoei full-face helmet (size L) with semi-matching graphics only worn once that I will be happy to include in the deal, too, if the buyer is interested, and if it would fit. Of course, any stock parts that have been removed will be included as well. I'm located in the Inland Empire area of southern California (near Redlands) for those who are local, and can have the bike available at my work warehouse for pick-up during regular business hours, or for shipping (shippers hate residential pickups and deliveries).
