Hello there! In this auction we have a Maico Motocross bike whose serial numbers seem to indicate a 1979 model year. It's in solid shape as you can see in the photos and, from the look of the fasteners, it hasn't really seen a lot of wrenches. It kicks through, has great compression, and an intermittent spark. . . so it looks like it might need a coil or something of that nature. So if you can look past the superficial rust and amateur upholstery and fender repairs, this could be a real diamond in the rough with a fair starting price. The frame number for the bike I am auctioning is 3472981 -- which indicates this is a 1980 Maico frame with a '79 motor. I do have a '79 frame with the number of 3411263 in the shop, however, along with a dented aluminum tank. The winning bidder, on pick up, can choose to pick these up for $100 if they desire (since I have no interest in listing them). The auction still stands as it is, however, and I apologize for any misunderstanding on my part.
